«3017, after the sea level rise of 3016 finally the waters return to their course. The neighborhood gradually recovers its dynamism; despite being far from that brand new center of entertainment and culture that was once. The spirit of protest and rebellion that precedes hedonism is brewing. The people are tired of the restrictions, are tired of receiving the spoils of the ruling classes, are tired of food experiments and desperately search for a hot meal that nourishes their body and forces them to return to the path of pleasure and enjoyment. »
The PDP11 collective presents a look at the Carmen neighborhood in the distant future. After 3016 Cuando se come aquí?, 3017 queremos comer caliente! It is a multisensory performance whose objective is to incite the people to rebellion by supplying them with nutritious and hot food. During the development of the performance the people received hot food. The project is structured around four elements: voice (Carlos Luna), electric guitars (Paco Sanmartín, Carlos García), visuals (Maria Jose Martinez de Pisón) and hot food (David Jengibre).This proyect was presented in the Intramurs Festival of Valencia 2017.
